Loha Bhasma (Iron Calx) is a traditional Ayurvedic medicine, a fine, purified, and calcined powder of iron used primarily to treat anemia, weakness, and improve vitality by boosting hemoglobin and red blood cell production, also supporting liver health, digestion, immunity, and skin conditions. Prepared through complex purification (shodhana) and heating (marana) processes, it's known for its bioavailability, often mixed with honey, ghee, or milk, and must be used under a physician's guidance due to potential side effects.
